The South Jersey Vietnam Veterans Association (SJVVA) is a charitable (501c-3)
organization composed of Vietnam veterans residing in the South Jersey area. Its
mission is to provide support to veterans of all US military conflicts as well as
military personnel currently serving our country. Activities include sending care
packages to military personnel currently serving both stateside and overseas,
financial and food assistance to needy veterans and their families, assisting with
veterans with transportation, participating in events that recognize military
veterans, providing information regarding veterans’ resources, coordinating with
other veterans organizations and governmental agencies, and advocating on issues
of concern to veterans.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at the Glassboro VFW Post
679 (275 Wilmer Street, Glassboro, NJ) at 7:30 p.m. and are open to all Vietnam
and Vietnam-era veterans.
