John “Jack” Edwin Allen, Jr. of Vineland on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Age 66. Husband of 7 years to Kathleen Marie (nee Hildebrand) Allen. Son of Julia Ann (nee Brown) Rose and the late John Edwin Allen, Sr. Brother of David Wayne Allen, the late Cynthia Louise Kelly, Julia Ann Worley, James Michael Allen (Karen), and Charles Robert Rose.
Born in Luzerne, PA and raised in Clayton, Jack was a resident of Pitman for 10 years before moving to Vineland 18 years ago. He was a 1973 graduate of Clayton High School and honorably served 2 years in the US Air Force. Jack worked as a truck driver for Campbell’s Express in Pitman for 22 years. He moved briefly to Florida to attend the Harley-Davidson mechanic school and returned home to work as a mechanic for Atlantic County Harley-Davidson in Galloway.
Jack loved working on all motorcycles, especially Harley’s, and was enjoying the new garage he had recently built. He liked to travel and loved his “little critters”, his dog, cat, parrot, and fish. Jack was a longtime and faithful member of the Calvary Chapel Church in Vineland. He was always there for those who needed help.
