JIMMIE MONGELLUZZO – Obituary

Jimmie Mongelluzzo, 82, of Franklin Twp., passed away on December 28, 2016 at home, surrounded by his family. Jimmie was a graduate of Clayton High School and Potomac College in West Virginia. He was an avid sports fan especially baseball and football. He played both sports, but continued playing football in college and also while he served in the US Army. Jimmie worked at Kimble Glass for 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed planting a little garden and working the garden with his best buddy and brother-in-law Dominick Pacitto. Above all else Jimmie was a wonderful and extremely proud husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Loretta (Pacitto) Mongelluzzo; daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Dennis Daly; two grandchildren, Gage And Cole Daly; brother, Samuel Mongelluzzo; brother & his wife, Nick & Arlene Mongelluzzo; sister & brother-in-law, Jeanette & Donald Ochetto; brother-in-law and his wife, Dominick & Jean Pacitto; and many nieces nephews & cousins Jimmie was predeceased by his daughter Gina Mongelluzzo; parents, Amato & Carmella (Carponella) Mongelluzzo; his brothers, Alessio, Willie, Mike & Alfred Mongelluzzo and his sisters, Dorothy Franks, Rita Barr, Angie Scarpa & Loretta Caporale.
A church visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:45 am to 11:45 am followed by a funeral mass at 12 noon from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament – Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
