Gregory Anthony Iacobacci, age 64, of Newfield, New Jersey, on April 15, 2025. Devoted father to Lauren Livingston and Jennifer Livingston. Proud grandfather to Michael, Brian, Katie, and Henry. Loving brother to Michele, Dolores, Vincent, and Jeffrey. Greg is survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins. His presence, humor, and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Born on February 14, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Greg was the beloved son of the late Vincent Joseph and Dolores Teresa (née Roach) Iacobacci. He was raised in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia, where he spent most of his life before relocating to Newfield three years ago. Greg completed his early education at Saint Bridget’s Catholic School in Philadelphia and was a proud 1979 graduate of Roman Catholic High School.
Greg followed in the footsteps of his father and dedicated his life to the craft of stone masonry. A loyal and proud member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 of Philadelphia, he built a career marked by skill, integrity, and artistry. His exceptional workmanship can be found in the elegant archways of Villanova University, at numerous sites across Center City Philadelphia, and in the timeless beauty of Longwood Gardens. His legacy is etched into the stone of the city he loved.
Outside of work, Greg found joy and peace in nature, especially along the Jersey Shore. He was a passionate fisherman who carefully tracked Bluefish and Kingfish, always ready to hit the nearest beach, pier, or jetty in pursuit. Cape May held a special place in his heart, where he enjoyed quality time with his family. He especially cherished taking his grandchildren to the Wildwood Boardwalk for weekends filled with love and laughter.
Above all, Greg was a man of heart and loyalty. He deeply loved his parents, and shared a lifelong bond and friendship with his father, whom he considered his best friend. His love for his family and pride in his heritage shaped every part of his life.
Services are private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME of Clayton. Sign the guestbook and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
