Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Wednesday, July 29th Gloucester County has conducted 32,199total tests. Of these cases, 29,167 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of County.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,032.

The 3017th case is a 24-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3018th case is a 34-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3019th case is a 13-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 3020th case is a 63-year-old male from Clayton.
The 3021st case is a 62-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3022nd case is a 37-year-old female from Mantua.
The 3023rd case is a 9-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3024th case is a 36-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 3025th case is a 22-year-old female from Clayton.
The 3026th case is a 28-year-old male from National Park.
The 3027th case is a 61-year-old male from West Deptford.

Gloucester County has 198 COVID-19 related deaths.The 197th patient death was a 91-year-old female from Greenwich Twp.The 198th patient death was an 83-year-old female from Deptford.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity. Please note that the call center is not able to diagnose or give medical recommendations. Healthcare providers should be contacted if medical advice is needed. People should call their doctor or hospital before going so healthcare staff can provide instructions on getting care. Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
