Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Tuesday, July 7, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 23,492 total tests. Of these cases, 20,820 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,672. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 19 cases to report. Of those cases:


The 2654th case is a 26-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2655th case is a 39-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 2656th case is a 23-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2657th case is a 50-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2658th case is a 32-year-old female from Greenwich.
The 2659th case is a 16-year-old female from Mantua.
The 2660th case is a 23-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 2661st case is a 45-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2662nd case is a 65-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 2663rd case is a 65-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 2664th case is a 60-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2665th case is an 80-year-old male from Deptford.
The 2666th case is a 34-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2667th case is a 49-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 2668th case is a 51-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 2669th case is an 89-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2670th case is a 74-year-old male from Woodbury.
The 2671st case is a 49-year-old male from Paulsboro.
The 2672nd case is a 61-year-old female from Clayton.

Gloucester County has 184 COVID-19 related deaths.
The 183rd patient death was a 75-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 184th patient death was a 76-year-old male from Clayton.


The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity.

Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
