Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Monday, October 5th, Gloucester County has conducted 62,867 total tests. Of these cases, 58,125 have come back negative.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,742 and has 223 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 15 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 4728th case is a 67-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4729th case is an 18-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 4730th case is a 64-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 4731st case is a 31-year-old male from Deptford.
The 4732nd case is a 55-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 4733rd case is an 85-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 4734th case is a 19-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4735th case is a 67-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4736th case is a 39-year-old female from Clayton.
The 4737th case is a 73-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 4738th case is a 39-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 4739th case is an 18-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 4740th case is a 59-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 4741st case is a 33-year-old male from Mantua.
The 4742nd case is a 55-year-old male from West Deptford.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise.
