Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Saturday, October 3rd Gloucester County has conducted 62,283 total tests. Of these cases, 57,569 have come back negative. Three cases have been moved out of county. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,714. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 18 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 4697th case is a 23-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The 4698th case is a 31-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4699th case is a 19-year-old male from Mantua.
The 4700th case is a 47-year-old female rom Deptford.
The 4701st case is a 20-year-old female from South Harrison Twp.
The 4702nd case is a 54-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 4703rd case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4704th case is a 26-year-old male from Mantua.
The 4705th case is a 35-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 4706th case is an 11-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4707th case is a 54-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 4708th case is a 12-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 4709th case is a 40-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 4710th case is a 28-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 4711th case is a 41-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4712th case is a 42-year-old male from Swedesboro.
The 4713th case is a 61-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 4714th case is an 86-year-old male from West Deptford.
Gloucester County has 223 COVID-19 related deaths. The 223rd patient death was a 66-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
