Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Monday, September 28th Gloucester County has conducted 60,456 total tests. Of these cases, 55,868 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of county.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,588 and has 220 COVID-19 related deaths. On Monday (9/28), Gloucester County has an additional 15 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 4574th case is a 29-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4575th case is a 52-year-old female from Harrison Twp.
The 4576th case is a 35-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 4577th case is a 34-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 4578th case is a 58-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 4579th case is a 19-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4580th case is a 62-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 4581st case is a 30-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4582nd case is a 36-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 4583rd case is a 49-year-old male from Logan.
The 4584th case is a 78-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4585th case is a 20-year-old male from Deptford.
The 4586th case is a 39-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4587th case is a 49-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4588th case is a 54-year-old female from Deptford.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity. Please note that the call center is not able to diagnose or give medical recommendations. Healthcare providers should be contacted if medical advice is needed. People should call their doctor or hospital before going so healthcare staff can provide instructions on getting care.
