Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Sunday, September 27th Gloucester County has conducted 60,058 total tests. Of these cases, 55,484 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,574.Today, Gloucester County has an additional 20 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 4555th case is a 16-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 4556th case is a 54-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 4557th case is a 21-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4558th case Is a 57-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4559th case is a 5-year-old female from Deptford.
The 4560th case is an 87-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 4561st case is an 18-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4562nd case is a 29-year-old male from Deptford.
The 4563rd case is a 63-year-old female from Deptford.
The 4564th case is an 8-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 4565th case is a 48-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 4566th case is an 18-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4567th case is a 30-year-old female from Deptford.
The 4568th case is a 72-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 4569thcase is a 19-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 4570th case is a 28-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 4571st case is a 64-year-old male from Mantua.
The 4572nd case is a 79-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 4573rd case is a 19-year-old female from Clayton.
The 4574th case is a 68-year-old female from Glassboro.

Gloucester County has 220 COVID-19 related deaths. The 220th patient death was a 58-year-old female from Washington Twp. The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise.
