Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Saturday, September 19th Gloucester County has conducted 57,106 total tests. Of these cases, 52,757 have come back negative. One case has been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,349 and has 217 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 24 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 4328th case is a 17-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 4329th case is a 22-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4330th case is a 21-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4331st case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4332nd case is a 26-year-old male from Pitman.
The 4333rd case is a 50-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4334th case is a 26-year-old male from Pitman.
The 4335th case is a 21-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 4336th case is a 22-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 4337th case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 4338th case is an 18-year-old male from Washington Twp.

The 4341st case is a 59-year-old male from South Harrison Twp.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity. Please note that the call center is not able to diagnose or give medical recommendations.
