Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Friday, September 18, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 56,643 total tests. Of these cases, 52,317 have come back negative. Two cases have been moved out of county. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 4,326 and has Gloucester County has 217 COVID-19 related deaths.Today, Gloucester County has an additional 28 cases to report. The 4304th case is a 19-year-old female from Mantua.
The 4305th case is a 72-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 4306th case is a 56-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 4307th case is a 62-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 4308th case is a 46-year-old male from Washington Twp.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise.
