Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Sunday, August 30, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 42,474 total tests. Of these cases, 38,781 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,693 and has 213 COVID-19 related deaths.Today, Gloucester County has an additional 16 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 3678th case is a 27-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3679th case is a 15-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3680th case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3681st case is a 65-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 3682nd case is a 20-year-old male from Mantua.
The 3683rd case is a 4-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 3684th case is a 38-year-old female from Harrison Twp.
The 3685th case is a 41-year-old female from Westville.
The 3686th case is a 47-year-old female from Deptford.
The 3687th case is a 61-year-old female form Westville.
The 3688th case is a 17-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3689th case is a 20-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 3690th case is a 21-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 3691st case is a 10-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3692nd case is a 5-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 3693rd case is a 47-year-old male from Newfield.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions.
