FREE SELF DEFENSE SEMINAR

Clayton Crime Watch Meeting

Free Self Defense Seminar

On Wednesday November 8th at 7PM at Clayton High School Auxiliary Gym, 350 E. Clinton St. Clayton. This event is open to all citizens (recommended to be at least 13 years of age). As the holiday seasons fast approaches it is a time when robberies, thefts, and burglaries usually spike. The Clayton Police Department is committed to keeping our citizens safe and secure during the holidays, so we have partnered with Austino Karate Do which has a local Dojo in Glassboro.

Please join with us to learn some simple way to keep you and your family safe during the holidays. The instructors will give you some simple tips to think about while you are out shopping. In addition, there will be hands on participation in self-defense techniques. Lead Instructor John Austino Jr., has been involved in teaching martial arts since 1989. He is a top competitor in the martial arts both locally and nationally.   He is currently a police officer employed with the State of New Jersey Human Services Police Department. John worked with the Vineland City Police Department and was on Vineland P.D.’s S.W.A.T team from 1995 – 2000. John continues to train and certify police officers at police academies throughout N.J.
