CRIMINAL ARREST – Franklin Township

CRIMINAL ARREST

On Saturday March 4th at approximately 2:14 AM, Franklin Township Police officer Nicholas Locilento conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fries Mill Rd in the area of Coles Mill Rd.   The driver of the vehicle was identified as Hector R. Munoz, 55 years old, Ventnor, NJ resident.   During the stop, Munoz was found to be in possession of suboxone strips and hypodermic needles.   A search of Monoz’s vehicle revealed that he was also in possession of a black colored imitation firearm.

Munoz was placed under arrest and charged with the following offenses: Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS), Possession of Hypodermic Needles, Unlawful Possession of Weapon, Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose (Imitation Firearm) and certain persons not to have a weapon.   Munoz was sent to the Salem County Jail for his charges.
