BARBARA A. CREAMER
Summerfield, Florida— Barbara A. Creamer, 85, died Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Hospice care at a local hospital facility. She was born on March 10, 1939 in Wilkes -Barre, PA, daughter of Winfield Marshall Brown and Esther Francis (Drum) Brown. She graduated from Pitman High School in 1958. After graduation, Barbara married and raised her family in Pitman, NJ where she spent most of her life. She moved to Summerfield, FL in 2020. She was a proud and active member of the Redbank, NJ, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) since 2015. Barbara was also a member of the Alpha Delta Lambda chapter in FL. She was a member of the New Jersey Beta Sigma Phi international sorority for 65 years. In both these chapters, she was instrumental in supporting Ranch Hope, a charity in Alloway, New Jersey. She worked as a Customer Service Representative for Verizon, retiring in December 2004. Funeral services are private and will be held at the discretion of the family. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA where Barbara will be buried along side of her mother, Esther. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Ranch Hope, P.O. Box 325, Alloway, NJ 08001. The Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
