Alfred Robert “Bob” Kelly on Friday, September 11, 2020. Age 75. Husband of 46 years to Kathleen Ann Kelly (nee Wagner). Father of Robert Kelly, Kyle Kelly, Megan Kelly, and two children from a previous marriage, Roseann Ilgenfritz and John Kelly. Grandfather of Hannah, Mason, Taylor, Sofia, and Michael. Brother of Charles, Joseph, and MaryAnn Kelly. Son of the late Thomas & Elizabeth (nee Otter) Kelly.
Born and raised in Camden, Bob lived in a number of places, including a year of traveling the country in a renovated yellow school bus, before settling in Franklinville 37 years ago. He worked as a union plumber and pipefitter for 26 years for United Association Local 322 in Winslow until his retirement in 2003. Bob’s passion was his many street rods, and one of his greatest joys was going to the car shows. All winter long he looked forward to the coming summer months so he could go to all of the shows and visit with his circle of street rod friends. Bob’s pride and joy was his 1948 Chevy in Barney purple that he rebuilt himself from the ground up and took to the shows.
