GLENN D’OTTAVIO

Glenn D’Ottavio of Mays Landing passed away peacefully on January 24, 2017 after a brief illness. Glenn was born in Vineland to Grace (Musto) and the late Nicholas D’Ottavio, Jr. Glenn attended Vineland Public Schools and was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1973. He also attended Goldey Beacon College. Prior to his 37 year career in the United States Postal Service, he was employed by Minotola National Bank. Glenn was a Postmaster in several local Post Offices including Landisville, Newfield, Dorothy and Malaga. He touched many people’s lives and he will be missed by all who knew him. Glenn was a resident of Mays Landing for many years where he also served on the Board of Directors at his community. His favorite pastimes included cooking, entertaining family and friends, the beach and disco music. Glenn will always be remembered for his kindness and love of his family and many friends.
He is survived by his mother, Grace (Musto) D’Ottavio; his sister Sheri D’Ottavio of Ventnor and his brother, Rodney D’Ottavio of Newfield; niece Nicole D’Ottavio; nephew Vincent D’Ottavio and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Glenn was predeceased by his father Nicholas D’Ottavio, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Patrick and Philomena Musto and his paternal grandparents, Nicholas Sr. and Fernanda D’Ottavio.
Funeral home visitations will be held on Monday evening from 6 pm to 9 pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10 am to 11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery, Vineland.
